I Congress & XII Conference of R Users in Córdoba

On 23, 24 and 25 November, we had the opportunity to attend the annual meeting organised by the R Hispano Community, which this year was hosted by the University of Córdoba. Until now, these gatherings were referred to as jornadas, but the group has grown so much that the terminology has even changed, and the event is now called a congress. We were fortunate enough to be present at this first congress and to meet in person the people we look up to and from whom we have learnt so much.

Over the three days, the event combined presentations of projects and research by the speakers, workshops on how to use R libraries, and excursions to explore the city.

It was certainly an event we would love to attend again.
